Mr. Kazuo Inamori, the founder of Kyocera and KDDI and honorary chairman of JAL, emphasizes the importance of putting customers first.
He states that it is crucial to continuously create products with value that will make customers happy.
To do this, one must challenge conventional concepts and thoroughly address customer needs.
This mindset applies to all industries.
When we hear the phrase "customer-first," we may think it means being subservient to customers, but Inamori's definition of customer-first is to continuously strive for business success by satisfying customers through advanced technology, timely delivery, quality, pricing, and new product development.
This approach aligns with the idea of growing together with customers.
It is the golden rule of business to work hard for customers while expanding business performance.
We can learn from Inamori's attitude of challenging customer demands for lower prices and increasing product competitiveness through cost reduction and other means.
In the context of Web3, I consider my community peers and space listeners as customers and will practice customer-first principles.
